How the unscrambler works

Use all five letters finds exact anagrams: words that use each of your letters exactly once. CRANE, for example, also gives NACRE, CANER, CRENA and RANCE. Repeated letters count, so PPLAE gives APPLE but PLAEX does not.

Use some of these letters picks any five from a longer set, without using a letter more times than you typed it. This helps when you have a handful of yellow and unused letters and want to see what fits.

Results come from Quordle's own list of accepted five-letter guesses, so this tool only returns five-letter words.

Already know where some letters go? Use the five-letter word finder instead. It understands green, yellow and gray tiles.
